A pre-order allows our customers to reserve and secure a specific timepiece before production begins directly through our website www.variuswatches.com
Pre-Orders are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Once the pre-order window closes and enough orders are received, we will begin production. After the window closes, availability is not guaranteed.

Production time will take roughly 12-16 weeks. This is a conservative estimate. Delivery estimate times can be effected by issues such as, quality control, border customs, or other unforeseen occurrences. We will keep all customers updated to any changes to the delivery date primarily through email and social media channels.
The total amount of the pre-order item will be charged in full immediately to your payment method of choice. A refund will be issued if the customer cancels their order before the pre-order window closes.
If the order is cancelled before the pre-order window closes, we will issue a refund to the payment method that was used. In addition, a 10% cancellation fee will be deducted from the refund in order to recoup the transaction fees charged by our payment processing platform. All refunds are processed in United States currency. VARIUS is not responsible for any differences in currency exchange rates between the purchase and the cancellation.
As an alternative in avoiding the cancellation fee, the customer can choose a store credit which can be used on future watch releases, and in-stock waatches and straps.
Due to the nature and complexity of this type of sale, and because of the numbers of watches produced, pre-order sales are final and non-refundable AFTER the pre-order window closes.
If you decide to return your pre-order watch after receiving it, you will be issued a store credit which can be used on future watch purchases, in-stock watch purchases and in-stock strap purchases.

By placing a pre-order through variuswatches.com, the customer accepts the above terms of sale.
Why is the QUEST being sold as a "pre-order"?
Pre-ordering allows VARIUS Watches to gage interest and produce limited quantities without overstock, maintain quality control, and keep pricing low.
Why does the pre-order benefit the customer?
In return for purchasing a watch through the pre-order, the customer receives a significant discount or reduction in price without having to pay full retail.
Why not Kickstarter?
Kickstarter is a fantastic launch platform for not only watch brands but all brands. It has some positives but it also has some negatives. Creators lose up to 10% of their revenue before even factoring in shipping costs.

Advantages of a Pre-Order compared to a Kickstarter campaign
-
The customer will pay a cheaper price since we don't have to pay Kickstarter fees. Typically Kickstarter charges 5% of the total sales plus credit card fees which are roughly 3-5%.
-
Transactions will be smoother since you will be buying directly from us. Customers can use a credit card or PayPal account. You can also use PayPal's pay over time.
-
VARIUS won't be forced to compete with lessor products on Kickstarter just on the basis of price or Kickstarter's algorythms.

Reviews
When I first opened the box of my black-dial seek, the first thing I noticed is how legible this thing will be while diving. Man, was a right. I'm a sucker for highly legible dial and teethy bezels that can be gripped with neoprene. Boxes checked. I'm usually a 39-40 mm kind of guy with smaller wrists, but the Seek feels great on-wrist. Further the titanium makes it extremely wearable as it goes almost unnoticed over a wetsuit. A dive extension would be nice, but the rubber strap is excellent.
